Awards

Awards are available for successfully completing a wide variety of flying-related activities with us. Once you meet an Award's specific requirement(s), our system will process it automatically and post the avatar to your Logbook – as seen in the illustration below. Clicking the box to the left of the green check mark will reveal a Pilot's Awards.

Those Awards noted as follows, however, have specific requirements that must be met in order for them to be earned.

PilotEdge or VATSIM Awards
  • In order to receive this award, you must choose the "Flying ..." option in ACARS to reflect either PilotEdge or VATSIM.
  • All flights marked appropriately will be calculated. If their total hours meet the requirements of the award, it'll be issued automatically after your PIREP is submitted.
  • This is only for hours earned while logging a flight with our ACARS; it's not for total hours on either network.
  • If you're unfamiliar with ACARS, visit the ACARS Help Page.

If you fail to mark your PIREP appropriately, you will not receive credit. No Exceptions.

     
    Tour Awards
    • In order to receive this award, you must complete the Tour associated with it.
    • Find a Tour by clicking on Flights > Tours in the Navigation Tab on the Crew Ops website.
    • Your flights have to be booked through the appropriate Tour and flown under the WAE prefix.
    • Read the 'i' at the bottom right of Tours for more information.

    If you fail to complete the flights through the Tour Center, you will not be awarded. No Exceptions.
